Salvation by John MacArthur and Kirk Cameron
Thework and ministry of sermonindex can be encapsulated in this one word: REVIVAL. sermonindex is not a organisation, business, or any attempt by man to build something for God. It is rather a expression of a heart burden to see the Church revived and brought back to holiness, purity, and power with God. “The mission of SermonIndex is the preservation and propogation of classical vintage preaching and the promotion of genuine biblical revival to this generation.” To download more sermons …

“If you are born again then God cannot see those sins.”
But I thought this Yahweh character was supposed to be able to do anything?

“Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin…”
The verse previous says, “He that committeth sin is of the devil for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the son of God was maifested that he might destroy the works of the devil”
It simply means if you sin, you are doing what Satan wants and you are going against God. If you don’t sin and do everything to not sin, then you are doing what God wants.
It’s not hard to understand.

“God cannot see your sin that is what he meant by that. ”
That would be just ducky, Armor,
if it weren’t for the inconvenient fact
that John used simple, plain words to say that
“Whosoever is born of God, COMMITTETH NOT SIN:
for his seed abideth in him,
and he CAN NOT SIN,
because he is born of God.”

Hey that is your choice and I respect that. . I am just starting to read 1 John. Born of God refers to be Born again through Christ and Christ is sinless therefore God cannot see your sin that is what he meant by that. Try reading the Gospel of John chapter 3. Where Jesus talked to Nicodemus.

“if He is not your God…you will go to HELL..”
Nonsense.
And even if it were so,
I would not collaborate with this sadistic, hypocritical monster,
not even to avoid his hellish torture.
My conscience would never allow that.

“If you are born again then God cannot see those sins.”
Ah, but that is NOT what the scripture says.
It says nothing about “God cannot see…”
It says clearly and plainly
“Whosoever is born of God, COMMITTETH NOT SIN:
for his seed abideth in him,
and he CAN NOT SIN,
because he is born of God.”
1 John 3
How’s that working out for you, Armor?

If you are born again then God cannot see those sins. He only sees Jesus when he looks at you. I as a born again feel ashamed of my sins and try to obey his law. But I know I can’t that is where the Son comes in. John also says the only way to the Father is though the Son. Jesus

“But the fact remains….if He is not your God…you will go to HEL”
Not at all.
That would be true if your MYTH were true, but it isn’t.
There is not one shred of evidence that YHWH exists,
outside of the campfire stories made up
by bronze-age desert dwellers who were afraid of the dark.

“HE did not kill them”
Have another read of Exodus chapters 7 through 12.
It’s one of the most appalling stories in literature.
God hardens Pharaoh’s heart repeatedly,
then brings these horrible plagues,
then kills the eldest son of EVERY Egyptian household
and of their slaves, their prisoners, even their livestock,
and all so that he can show off his magical powers.
There was not one home without a death.
God killed them!
They did NOT kill themselves!
With a god like that,
who needs enemies?

“I’m not a perfect man and I can accept that”
John says that those born of god
CAN NOT SIN.
How do you respond to tis scripture?
I’d say I have never met a born-again person by that criterion.

But the fact remains….if He is not your God…you will go to HELL……have you been saved? He could still forgive you. But on the path you are going…I wonder would He change His mind?
